Professional Summary
Charlotte Russell is a Certified Social Worker (CSW) providing in-person services at our Lexington office as well as Telehealth services. She works with children, adolescents, adults, and families and is passionate about creating a warm, welcoming environment where clients feel genuinely seen, heard, and supported.
Charlotte has extensive experience working with children and families through early childhood, Head Start, school-based, after-school, and community settings. Her background has given her a strong understanding of child development, emotional regulation, challenging behaviors, family relationships, and trauma-informed care.
She has a particular interest in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), emotional challenges, and life transitions. Charlotte takes a compassionate, strengths-based, and client-centered approach, helping clients recognize their strengths, develop practical coping skills, and build greater confidence in navigating life’s challenges. She also enjoys incorporating developmentally appropriate and engaging interventions when working with younger clients.
For Charlotte, therapy begins with connection. She believes meaningful growth happens when clients know they don't have to face difficult experiences alone, and she strives to build a supportive relationship with each person based on trust, authenticity, and acceptance.
“I help children, adolescents, adults, and families overcome feelings of isolation and overwhelm by building resilience, strengthening coping skills, and fostering meaningful growth through compassionate care.”
