Mallory Rice is a Certified Social Worker who provides therapy services in Somerset and via telehealth to clients in the Richmond and Berea areas. In addition to her clinical work, Mallory supervises internship students in the Clinical Social Work Program, helping to guide and develop the next generation of social workers.
Mallory earned her Master of Science in Social Work (MSSW) from the University of Louisville and her Master of Science in Psychology with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis from Eastern Kentucky University. She has diverse experience in community mental health and other therapeutic settings.
Mallory works with children as young as 4 years old, adolescents, and adults. She uses a variety of treatment methods tailored to meet each client’s needs, including play therapy for children, family therapy, and faith-based counseling for those seeking spiritual growth alongside their mental health journey. Her areas of expertise include working with families in crisis, pregnant women and new families, individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and children and adolescents with severe emotional disabilities.
