Professional Summary

Teea Fullen-Barnes is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) as well as a Licensed and Certified Athletic Trainer (LAT, ATC). Teea has completed trainings in Advance Perinatal Mental Health, Black Perinatal Mental Health, Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders, and Perinatal Grief and Loss.

 

She brings authenticity and personality to session. She strives to help people remember their full potential and to become the happiest and healthiest versions of themselves. Teea's goal is to be of service and bring more awareness of mental health services to everyone, especially POC and to educate Birthing POC on overall mental health services and the availability of services throughout and after the pregnancy. She thoroughly enjoys working with adolescents ages 16+, college students, mothers wanting to find their identify outside of motherhood, and anyone looking to heal and thrive.

 

As an Athletic Trainer she’s helped a diverse population of athletes, as well as the general population through physical injuries and limitations as well as mental health assistance through expressing empathy and active listening. This foundation and professional experience is integral in the way she provides mental health support in the counseling setting.
